Black 3 ply BWB 

3 HB modified for blade, hand drilled for mini pots. 

Tape notes for pickups on front: Carvin B, Armstrong OK M, EMG OK N.

Back has strip of tape for EMG D/A

Very good condition!! Signs of wear and some surface scratches from normal use while playing. Overall looks very good. (See pics)

Comes in the exact condition Frank Zappa kept it in. 

Frank was photographed with the customized Fender Stratocaster with this pickguard at Utility Muffin Research Kitchen in 1982. (See pics)

Frank Zappa was always chasing tone and sound and these items are what he used to achieve his iconic and unique sound in music. A true part of Zappa history and a part of music history.
