Recently Serviced and works perfectly. No scratchy pots or jacks. Loaded with a fresh quad of JJ EL34 tubes.
The V-7 was Ampeg’s answer to the JCM 800 in the 80s. These were made by MTI and are internally very similar to the 800. The major difference with the Ampeg v-7 is the mid dip switches. They allow you to get that real beefy scooped mids tone you just can’t get with a jcm800. Like the original Jcm800s, these came loaded with 6550 tubes and later was biased to run EL34s.
