DNA Percussion Nested Domed Bell Jingle

The shape of this bell was inspired by a simplified bell shape. Playing with the wall thickness, size, and proportions, I was led to optimizing the musical sound by creating a smaller bell that fit inside the original bell. 

This nested construction allows the bells to have two layers of sound and deepens the tone from bright and shimmery to darker and more refined. The nested bells also add a little bit more weight to add some control to cymbal sound when draped on top. 

The braided handle offers a bit of grip to manipulate and control as you would like. This makes it easier to play by hand and doubles to hang it off the edge of a drum or the mount of a cymbal or hi hat.
