This is a lovely example of a gold label Kamaka ukulele, handcrafted in Honolulu, Hawaii, between 1954 and 1969. It features a koa body, sides, back, and neck, with a rosewood bridge, fretboard, and nut, along with nickel steel frets. Founded in 1916 by Sam Kamaka Sr., Kamaka holds the distinction of being the oldest ukulele maker currently in operation. Its warm tone and brightness are certainly appealing.
