Unmarked 4/4/ violin in very good condition. Made in Germany ca. 1900; purchased by previous owner's grandmother in Omaha, NE ca 1910-20.
Set up with new Dominant strings. Was refurbished at Foxes Music in 2014 and appraised at that time for $2,700 with included case (written appraisal can be provided).
This violin is loud. It cuts through very well and would be a great fiddle for country, bluegrass, or rock music. It is very comfortable to play and has been taken care of.
Marked "very good condition" because there are some things that could be fixed if desired: the pegs are pushed in and the nut doesn't fit perfectly. However, the pegs still have a lot of life in them and the nut is totally secure and level. These could be repaired, but the fiddle is completely functional as it is now.
