Up for sale we have a 2023 Epiphone “Inspired by Gibson” ‘63 Firebird I in Heather Poly finish with original hardshell case. The guitar is in excellent near mint condition showing almost no visible signs of use. There are a handful of very minor dings near the neck joint and one pin head sized chip on the face of the body near the heel of the fingerboard (see photos). Aside from that small amount of wear the guitar is in fantastic shape. This Firebird 1 features a 24 3/4” scale length, solid 9-ply Mahogany/Walnut neck-through construction with two ”wings” glued to either side forming the body, 3-ply white pickguard with Firebird logo, equipped with a single Gibson USA Firebird mini humbucker with volume and tone controls, gold reflector top knobs, 1/4” Switchcraft output jack and a compensated Lightning Bar wraparound bridge. The neck features a comfortable ‘63 Firebird medium-C profile measuring .810” deep at the first fret and 1.00” deep at the twelfth fret. Width at the (Graph Tech) nut measures a full 1 11/16” The Indian Laurel fingerboard features a 12” radius, pearl dot inlaid fret markers and 22 medium jumbo frets. The frets show virtually no visible play wear. The neck is nice and straight and plays great with truss rod access located at the headstock. The truss rod turns smoothly and functions as intended. Notes ring clean and clear with no dead spots. The reverse headstock features a silkscreened Epiphone logo on the truss cover and Kluson Banjo style Planetary tuning machines. The instrument weighs in at 7 lbs. 13.5 oz. It will be properly packed with care prior to shipment. In-store trades only. Please reach out with any further questions. Thanks for looking!
