AmpliFIRE 12 builds on the success of the company's powerful and portable AmpliFIRE pedal. Both share the same amp modelling and effects processing engine, OS, editor and firmware making it easy to share sounds and presets between them. AmpliFIRE 12 increases the number of footswitches to 12, adds a larger LCD screen, 2 dedicated expression pedal inputs and a pro headphone connection. All this is packed into a custom-designed, ultra-rugged, tour ready aluminum enclosure.

Absolutely awesome Atomic Amplifire 12.  Used this for just an hour or so in my home studio and this thing sounds awesome.

The Atomic AmpliFIRE 12 is capable of producing harmonies. It includes a Pitch Shifter effect block that can be configured to act as an intelligent harmonizer. The Pitch Shifter effect on the AmpliFIRE 12 offers several pitch-shifting options, including:

• Intelligent harmonizer: Allows you to create harmonic intervals that are in key with your playing.
• Detune: Creates a subtle, chorus-like effect by slightly shifting the pitch.
• Octaver: Adds a tone one or two octaves above or below your original note.
• Dual harmony: A mode that allows for two-voice harmonizations.
• Whammy: Replicates the function of a traditional whammy pedal, with an expression pedal for real-time control. 

This effect block was added as part of a firmware update (specifically, AmpliFIRE 6.0) for both the AmpliFIRE 12 and the AmpliFIRE 6. The Pitch Shifter can be placed either before or after the amp block in your signal chain, giving you control over how the harmonies interact with your overdrive and other effects.
