Provenance & Craftsmanship

Each body was made from premium lumber hand-selected by a boutique luthier, who personally sourced and transported the wood to a professional shop in New Jersey for shaping. Specifications were tailored to his own playing preferences, making them compatible with standard hardware while offering a refined feel and build quality not found in mass-produced bodies. For example, the Cap or top of the bass bodies is much thicker then 1/8th inch. (Often the standard in available bass bodies.) The thicker top allows for more complex tones and frequencies. A thicker cap also shows more of the beautiful wood grains from the side view of the bass.

Features a premium pairing of true Brazilian mahogany—prized for its warm tone, fine grain, and resonant qualities—with a flamed maple cap showcasing bold, wavy figuring and natural color variation. The maple top includes one darker line that is part of the grain pattern, adding to its character. Seldom available in NOS condition.
