Those who are in the know will tell you that Hamer guitars are great sounding guitars that are a joy to play. Championed by Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, Hamers were widely used by such players as Andy Summers of the Police, Judas Priest, Def Leppard, Steve Stevens, Martin Barre, Night Ranger, Therapy?, and many others.

Like many of the guitars in the Hamer lineup, the Eclipse takes its inspiration from the Les Paul Jr., and has a similar feel. It features a solid mahogany body and a set mahogany neck topped with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard built on a 24 ¾” scale. The Eclipse comes loaded with dual Seymour Duncan mini humbuckers.

Listing includes a G&L gig bag.

Please keep in mind that it is a used piece of gear, and therefore may show some signs of normal use. There is a small ding on the edge of the body near the knobs. There are also some stress cracks in the finish around the neck joint. One has had a repair on it using black paint. The others have yet to have any repairs done. The neck itself is solid, but please see the photos for more detail.
