Custom Esquire w/ Arlo Mod and Coil Tap - Jeff Beck Tribute

For sale is a Jeff Beck Esquire tribute using a an American made swamp ash body by a builder in Mississippi and an Allparts neck. The body has a heavy relic blonde nitro finish and the contours of Beck’s 54 Esquire that he played with the Yardbirds and eventually traded with Seymour Duncan for the Telegibson. It's pretty spot on with the wear.

The neck is an Allparts maple neck and also finished in nitro with relic wear. It has a 21 medium-jumbo frets, C shaped neck that is a 60s slim taper profile with a 9.5” radius and 1 5/8” vintage nut width. The frets are level and the action is low for a fast playing neck. The truss rod works as it should, and the neck is straight. The only flaw is that the neck pocket isn’t perfectly level, so there is a small gap (See pics) It has no effect on the neck alignment or performance.

In terms of hardware and electronics, this has aged Fender strap buttons, an aged control plate with knobs, an aged Fender bridge, and aged locking Kluson tuning machines. It has also has a Bakelite pickguard. The bridge pickup was bought from Dana Mazzaglia, a custom winder in New Hampshire. It features a coil tap so you can switch between vintage (6.1k) and hot (10.6) output. I purchased a Pro Tones wiring harness customized with the Arlo Mod (Similar to an Eldred mod but with more mids on the cocked wah position) and Bourns pots with a push pull on the tone pot to switch between vintage and hot output. This is a great sounding and great playing guitar. The guitar weighs 8.2 lbs.
