Supro Delay a été conçue par Howard Davis à qui l'on doit notamment l'Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man ou encore la Pigtronix Echolution. Autant dire que c'est un sujet qu'il affectionne et surtout qu'il maitrise. L'objectif étant ici d'offrir justement les sonorités typiques des pédales des années 70 en utilisant pour cela 2 puces de type Bucket Brigade MN3005 à haute tension capable de produire des échos de 600ms avec une large headroom ou d'opter pour la grande dynamique d'un slapback de 20ms.
