This early ’61 slab-board Jazzmaster is a gem—original electronics and hardware, with the only change being a past professional refret with medium jumbo frets. It has also had a recent fret re-leveling, so it plays cleanly up and down the neck.
Recently set up by a skilled luthier with a new neck shim, the neck angle and action are right where they should be.
- Neck stamp: April 1961 (slab board)
- Original electronics, hardware – only change is the refret
- Recent fret re-leveling for smooth, buzz-free play
- Fresh setup by a luthier – dialed in and stage-ready
- Condition: Very good for its age, with honest wear—checking, small dings, and scratches from 64 years of life
- Case: Original, worn but functional as one would expect
- Includes: Original trem arm & bridge cover
