Here is a Pearl LTD Edition Exotic Wood Kapur 14"×6.5" snare with Super Hoops and chromed tube lugs. It's 6 ply and finished in a gloss caramel stain. These were limited runs produced in 2013. It's a very smart looking snare that sounds the business. This snare came out of a studio and was properly stored in a hardcase annd climate controlled environment. It is therefore in excellent condition with no marks, scratches or pitting. 9/10.

The sonic properties of Kapur are well established but it's cost has been priced out of the reach of many players. Being twice as dense as mahogany, the sound of Kapur has been described as warm, dry, soft, and mild. An excellent sound balance makes these drums the ideal choice in the studio.
