Instruments from this era mark the last chapter in Pleyel’s 200+ year legacy of French piano craftsmanship — making this model highly desirable to players and collectors alike.
The Pleyel pedigree is on par with Steinway pianos. Having built instruments for over two centuries, Pleyel was the preferred choice of composers like Chopin, Liszt, Debussy, Ravel, and Stravinsky.
A standout feature is its red spruce soundboard, sourced from Italy’s Val di Fiemme and crafted by Ciresa S.r.l. — the same tonewood supplier used by Fazioli, Steinway, and even Stradivari. The result is a lyrical, expressive tone with outstanding resonance and warmth.
