Yamaha SG2000 1977 - Cherry Sunburst

Yamaha is highly regarded both domestically and internationally for its high-quality craftsmanship, ease of use, and powerful sound.

A 1977 model with a serial number has arrived as a used item.

This model, which was the highest class at the time, features a double cutaway SG shape, a mahogany + maple neck and body with a through-neck design, and excellent playability in the high positions.

The fingerboard is made of ebony, with a rich, deep color that seems to draw you in.

While the shape evokes the Gibson SG, this guitar weighs a hefty 4.6 kg.

This weight contributes to a low-end bass response that is both powerful and controlled, with a midrange focus that prevents the bass from overpowering the sound, resulting in a clear and articulate tone.

The pickups have been upgraded from the original to Duncan SH-1, allowing you to enjoy the instrument's natural resonance even more.

While it shows significant signs of use due to its age, this is a Japan Vintage-era model, so every scratch adds to its charm.

The fret wear is approximately 70%, the truss rod has ample adjustment range and is functioning normally, and the rest of the electronics and neck area are in good condition and can be used without issues.

Please experience this Japanese-made instrument from “that era.”
