HONEST CONDITION REPORT: This 38-year-old warrior shows its battle scars with pride! Minimal cosmetic wear that tells the story of decades of great music. Yes, there's very slight damage at the back of the headstock (see pic 7) - completely cosmetic and doesn't affect playability AT ALL. The pickguard shows typical stress cracks near the knobs (standard for 80s guitars) - adds character without compromising function. Frets show honest playing wear but plenty of life left. Currently set up with buttery-smooth low action.
THE BOTTOM LINE: The PL1770 was discontinued after 1987 along with the entire Pro Line series, making this a true collector's piece. Made in 1986, the PL1770 Pro Line was way ahead of its time and represents the peak of Japanese craftsmanship from Ibanez's golden era.
