This snare is in great condition and tunes up/sounds/plays absolutely fantastic. It is about 50 years old. This is a birch shell with an outer ply of maple and it looks amazing.
Notes about this snare,
-has some pitting on hardware
-has some rust on throw off as well as one of the roller actions (both pieces function very well)
-The snare butt plate and master touch have been replaced with a Tama reproduction of those pieces.
