This is a one-of-a-kind B3 prototype built by Gene Baker in 2010. I am the original owner, and the guitar was received directly from Gene Baker.

This instrument is a prototype of the “L.A.” model, developed by Gene Baker beginning in 2008. This design was created in conjunction with guitars Baker built for Ty Tabor (King’s X), blending Ty’s favorite elements from Telecaster, Stratocaster, and Les Paul designs into a single, highly refined instrument. The 2010 completion date is documented on the original B3 factory specification sheet.

The back of the headstock is signed by Gene Baker, dated, and clearly marked “Proto.”
