I do the relic finish myself and I have been selling relic parts for almost 20 years. The screws are extra strong stainless steel. I do not use chrome platted zinc. The intonation and tuner screws are nickel platted steel. I start with brand new screws. These have never been installed on a guitar.

the neck and bridge are critical contact points and having a strong connection will impact tone. Because of the strength of these screws, you will have the best possible tone transfer. These screws are a tone upgrade! These screws are the absolute best quality.

The intonation screws are from Callaham.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR GUIDE HOLES ARE DRILLED PROPERLY. I ALSO RECOMMEND USING BEES WAX ON THE SCREWS - ESPECIALLY FOR AN ASH BODY.
