I bought this here and it sustained a crack in the top and some finish damage during shipping.
I had it professionally repaired and refinished. I took the guitar back to the luthier on 8/15/25 and was informed that the crack did not go through and therefore a cleat was not necessary; I believe that is accurate since no change whatsoever has occurred with it. It seems to be an entirely cosmetic issue with no effect on tone and projection.
Excellent sounding, very punchy, with the typical Taylor playability.
