The Gentleman's Bass...
Here is a super rare Japanese Kingston branded Teisco FB-2 Violin Bass from 1967. These are essentially Hofners like the ones prefered by the Beatles and the Kinks. It's a full scale with dual single coils that sound fantastic - think if the intro to Day Tripper and that's the sound. It also sounds great with fuzz thanks to it's poppy, mid-range, hollowbody characteristics. The neck is straight with a working truss. Frets are 90%. The overall condition is very good with no warping or cracks. There is some age checking om the finish. All original. Set up with fresh flat wounds. It's a beauty and a player.
