This exquisite Orchestra Model blends vintage aesthetics with modern performance, making it ideal for a variety of musical styles.
Crafted with a solid spruce top treated with vintage toner and lacquer finish, the OMJM delivers a rich, full sound enhanced by specially designed "hybrid" bracing. Its East Indian rosewood back and sides complement the spruce top, offering warm, resonant tones with smooth overtones.
The OMJM features luxurious appointments, including a Style 45 rosette with paua (abalone) shell, herringbone top trim, and grained ivoroid binding. A polished and beveled tortoiseshell pickguard and vintage "aging" toner add to its classic appeal. The Spanish cedar neck with a custom low profile and black African ebony fingerboard ensure effortless playability, adorned with John Mayer's signature inlaid in pearl.
Equipped with Martin Gold Plus electronics for superior amplified sound, the OMJM is ready for stage and studio. It includes a vintage Geib style hardshell case with a unique art deco-inspired monogram, personally designed by Mayer.
