Limited edition and one-of-a-kind Shadow guitar, serial number 3687, decorated with a custom mosaic of miniature Russian/Soviet Union pins over a classic black body. Owned and decorated by the lead singer of the band Leningrad, Sergey Shnurov.
Sergey Vladimirovich Shnurov was born 13 April 1973 and is a Russian musician and songwriter, best known as Shnur of the ska-punk band Leningrad, which he formed in 1997. The group disbanded between 2008 and 2010, during which time Shnur formed Rubl with other members of Leningrad. Art critic Stanislav Zapalikov thinks that the main audience of Shnurov are clerks who need someone to channel their aggression. You can find his bio on Wikipedia to include his comments since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The guitar is a throwback to the 90s! You would see awesome Shadow guitars on the pages of old Guitar magazines. These are high-quality guitars from West Germany. Shadow no longer manufactures electric guitars but is popular for its line of active electronics and pickups.
Buy this guitar and I'll throw in another Sergey Shnurov 3/4 electric guitar similarly decorated (see the photos). I was told these hung in a Hard Rock Cafe, but not whether in Russia or Germany. Sure to only go up in value as unique collector' items. Oh, and they play well too!
