This is a rare left-handed Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Telecaster. On a Postmodern Telecaster the Custom Shop starts with a base vintage model (63 Tele on this one) then adds modern touches not specific to any certain year. The two-piece ash body with contoured neck heel wears a Journeyman Relic® lacquer finish, and the premium quartersawn maple neck hosts a ’60 style “oval C” profile, 9.5”-radius maple fingerboard and 21 narrow tall (6105) frets. The gorgeous candy tangerine body is covered in some of the most beautiful aging that you’ll find.
Hand-wound loaded ’51 Nocaster (bridge) and genuine wide range CuNiFe humbucker (neck) pickups are sent through dual-stack HS Tele wiring with an angled switch and Electro socket output jack. Other features include a three-ply black pickguard, ’58-’63 Tele bridge with exclusive RSD lefty compensated brass saddles, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut and wing string tree. Custom Shop hardshell case, and certificate of authenticity included.
Condition: Journeyman Relic; Body: Ash; Neck: 60 style oval C (.810-.950), 9.5 radius; Nut: 1.650; Color: Candy Tangerine; Pickups: handwound 51 Nocaster and wide range CuNiFe humbucker; Scale: 25.5
