This is a Custom Sherman 7 String made by the luthier Mike Sherman. It was delivered in January of 2013. It is a mahogany body with a quilted maple top, with a beautiful nitro purple finish and a matching headstock. The fretboard is ebony with some light natural wood grain streaking. All frets are in good condition with minimal signs of wear.
For electronics, it has a DiMarzio ToneZone7 in the bridge and a DiMarzio Liquifire7 in the neck. The volume and treble potentiometers are push/pull, wired so as to split either the neck pickup, the bridge pickup, or both resulting in single coil sounds.
This guitar does have some wear. There is a chip on the back of the headstock at the tip, a couple chips on the back of the body, a small amount of fret sprout on the side of the fretboard, and some light pick marks. All of these defects can be seen in the photos.
It comes with a soft shell Roadrunner guitar case and a purple Ernie Ball strap with Dunlop straplocks.
