Silvertone 1445 1968 - Sunburst flame

Hello and thanks for looking at my very cool 1968 Silvertone model 1445 Mosrite copy. Model/serial number are 319 14459 Made in Japan - see pics. I've enjoyed this guitar for over 20 years. Early on I went through the electrics to clean them, and properly grounded the tail piece, and the bridge which took care of the usual buzz that happens on these old "garage sale" guitars. This is one of the higher end guitars that were made in Japan as they started becoming a force to deal with in the guitar building industry.

The body and cosmetics are beautiful with very little scuffs, scratches etc. There is a small chunk (see pics) that is missing right by the neck that DOES NOT effect the guitar or playability in any way. Otherwise please review the pics, my descriptions,,, and ask any questions as needed.

This guitar plays great, neck is straight with just a slight relief, great frets, and smooth neck finish. The neck is 1.7" wide and .8" deep at the nut, and 2.0" wide and 1.1" deep at the 12th fret. Of course, the truss rod, and bridge adjustments work properly if the new owner has different requirements. The whammy bar and newer spring are included and function as designed - which is very rare for these models - most of them are missing the whammy.

The sound is classic older Japanese single coil pickups that were played by many of the 80's and 90's grunge bands. I love the sound, if you do, please take a close look at this one and make me an offer!
