If you're on the ultimate quest for the perfect vintage sound, you may have found it in this kit. The 6-ply, 6mm thick beech shells from Sonor, dating back to the 1970s, promise a wonderfully warm, punchy, and open sound, perfectly complemented by this checkerboard veneer, black hardware, and what appear to be handmade lugs. A truly unique and memorable kit.
The kit has no additional drill holes. There are some minor paint chips on the lugs and hoops. The beautiful veneer is slightly peeling in a few places, but this is not visually noticeable. The floor tom is slightly smaller than 16", allowing for a bit of extra head clearance.
