DWG Offset Bridge

The bridge posts are oriented and sized to fit almost all jazzmasters. It will not fit the threaded adjust-o-matic modern thimbles. Bridge posts are 7.7mm, post spacing is standard 73mm and this create a snug non-rocking fit. Measure your thimbles and post spacing if you are not sure. Almost all jazzmasters fit a 73mm spacing and 7.7mm posts. String spacing is 53mm.

I wanted to build an offset bridge that could handle the widest variety of situations. And I wanted to make it affordable yet functional. After putting this bridge on a few of my custom guitars people have been asking if they can buy one. So I created this listing.

Custom Stainless Steel Bridge Plate with 3 Compensated Steel Saddles. This bridge has two Brass Bridge posts and is a direct replacement to fit standard jazzmaster bridge thimbles. Works just like any other Offset bridge in that you can raise the entire bridge with Titanium set screws at the bottom of the Brass bridge post.

The slots are nice and deep so that a wide variety of string gauges and break angles can be used. There is plenty of room for intonation of very low tunings with heavy strings and standard tunings with light strings. The Titanium post screws are nice and long if you need the bridge way up high, or they retract all the way in if you need the bridge to sit close to the body. Adjustable radius can handle any guitar radius.

Installation instructions:

Loosen posts with 3mm Allen Wrench.

Insert bridge and tighten posts with 3mm Allen Wrench

Bring the 6 strings to tension

Adjust bridge Height with 2.5mm Allen Wrench

Use the six Saddle Posts 1/16" Allen Wrench to adjust Radius only
