Teisco Spectrum SP-62 MIJ Kawai Reissue 1999 Metallic Blue Japan w/ Bag

This is a super rare and hard to find Kawai Reissue Teisco Spectrum SP-62 from 1999! The SP-62 pays tribute to the 1960's Spectrum 5 models but includes split coil pickups in the bridge and neck positions along with 3 color coded switches. The green switch engages the bridge pickup, yellow for the neck, and the red acts as a boost for pushing both pickups. The tone woods include a mahogany neck and body with a rosewood fretboard. 

This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips throughout the body with additional chips and small dings on the headstock. The metallic blue finish has an aged appearance, particularly along the sides of the body and down the back of the neck, depending on the lighting and the hardware shows normal tarnish from over time. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should. 

The volume and tone knobs have been replaced, otherwise this guitar appears to be original.
