For sale is a Strasser microphone that was likely produced by Beyerdynamic, designed for speech! I'd say cosmetically, the microphone is in excellent shape and it has a nice hot signal. These microphones were designed for use on voice for things such as speech. As a result, Strasser typically had mics made for them with a HPF to reduce bass response. As a result, this mic will be leaner in bass response compared to an SM57, for example.
Cosmetically, this mic looks great with a darker paint scheme, and I'm a big fan of the grille design. It seems the same type of material that Beyerdynamic uses can be seen through the venting. I assume Beyerdynamic produced these mics for Strasser or at least components, since there are many other models that were simply rebranded from Beyer.
