Here is an Early USA 57 Reissue Fender Stratocaster from the Fullerton, CA Fender Factory. The guitar features an 8-13-82 Pencil Dated Neck with a Comfortable Soft V Profile that these early Fullerton Reissues are known for. The Two Tone Sunburst Finished body has a January 1983 Date Stamp in the Tremolo Cavity and the signature thin Fullerton Body Contours. A Single Ply Pickguard is intact with Three Single Coil Pickups and 1982 Dated Pots. The guitar was owned by a local blues player and had been worked on by guitar and amp tech Cesar Diaz of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bob Dylan, and Diaz Amp fame. The Tremolo Back Plate has Cesar's Signature on the underside for a very cool historical addition. Some player friendly changes have been made including a 5 way switch with some touched solder joints and a professionally refret with new nut. There is evidence of other tuners once being installed on the neck. The guitar is in Very Good Vintage Condition displaying honest play wear with lots of nicks, dings, and scratches. An extra strap button hole is present on the treble side horn. The guitar plays well and at 7.35 pounds is very comfortable. Included is the Original Tweed Case and Tremolo Arm.
