This is a refurbished instrument from MIRC (Musical Instrument Reclamation Corporation). MIRC purchases discontinued models, blems, and returns from manufacturers and large online retailers. This guitar has a small blemish where the neck meets the body on the lower cutaway. It's a small spot where you can see a dark spot under the paint. Other than that, it is in brand new condition.

The serial number is changed and "Used" stamped on the back of the headstock per their agreement with Squier. It's like getting a brand new professionally set up guitar at a great price.
