Here we have a gorgeous Stelling Bellflower from very early in their production. This fantastic instrument was hand built in 1977, just three years into Stelling production. What makes this one particularly special is its Maple resonator, rim, and neck as most of these were made from Black Walnut.
This one is in excellent shape and we believe to be all original (except for the newer head). There is barely any fretwear and the original tuners work great. 5th string spikes have been added at frets #7, 9 & 10. There is a hairline crack on the heel (see pics) that has been professionally repaired and hardly visible. The banjo plays great with no issues. Comes with its original hardshell case.
Stelling Banjo Works officially shut down in 2022, so there is no more production of these amazing banjos Here is a chance to own a professional level banjo, with rare maple construction, and guaranteed to increase in value!
