Up for sale is a vintage 1973 Gibson SG Special in its original Walnut finish – a true rock ‘n roll classic with loads of character and vintage mojo.
This SG features the iconic slim double-cutaway mahogany body, with a comfortable mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard. It delivers that unmistakable warm, biting Gibson tone thanks to its original mini-humbuckers, which have aged beautifully over time.
Condition & Notes:
- This guitar has had a professionally repaired headstock break. The repair is solid and stable, with no impact on tuning or playability.
- Normal cosmetic wear for a vintage instrument – finish checking, small dings, and playwear.
- Frets are in great shape for the age and it plays beautifully up and down the neck with low action.
This SG Special is the real deal – lightweight, resonant, and full of attitude. A perfect player’s vintage piece or studio gem. You don’t see many early '70s models in original condition with this much vibe
