Ibanez EPP-400 produced by Maxon in the mid 80s. It's a MIDI controlled loop switcher for rack effects and/or pedals. Ibanez EPP-400 Effect Patching Programmer 2 inputs, 2 outputs, 5 effects loops, 1 sub output 128 separate programmable patches.
Essentially, you can call up a preset with the loops in any order you want or excluding any loops you want. There's also a 'bypass' button and 'sub' in/out for the stereo out of mono in/stereo out units.
Within each patch program you have: effect on/off, effect order, input assign, output assign, sub output assign. 8-digit, 7-LED readout displays all important functions.
Multiple remote program selection features, including user assignable MIDI channel capability Separate remote bypass ability. Input jacks for Program shift and Bypass Midi out Works great.
