This is a 1970s Ibanez fuzz pedal!
"Ibanez" is an export brand made by Nisshin Onpa Seisakusho, which is also known for its "Maxon" brand. It is also exported overseas under the brand name "MICA". It is characterized by a rough distortion that is extremely crushed (compressed), and the chords become a mass of sound that attacks you, creating a fuzz sound. The operation system is the two switches at the front, the left side turns the fuzz on/off, and the right side switches the fuzz tone. This is a familiar specification for domestic fuzzes, and you can choose between a bass-heavy and mid-boost tone. In both cases, the upper octave sound is quite noticeable in the high positions. And this is also unique, but the slider on the right controls the degree of fuzz distortion, and the slider on the left controls the fuzz output.
Transistor: 2SC828 x 4, 2SK30A
*The BALANCE slider has deteriorated over time and is not very smooth, but we have confirmed that it works. (※This item is not guaranteed to work.)
