The LeBlanc Symphonie III was a professional model clarinet made by Leblanc in Paris. It was part of a series that evolved over time, aiming to provide high-quality instruments with excellent intonation and a distinct tonal character. Based on the serial number 8525, this one dates from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. It has a clear and focused sound, and it has a medium-large (15.0mm) bore, which contributes to a rich, dark sound and good projection. The bell has a repaired crack, but there is nothing that affects the sound or playability. The horn comes in a hard case, as shown.
