18 channel 20' audio snake (21.5’ actual) 1/4” male TRS to 1/4” male TRS
Mastering Lab spec Alpha 1775C wire,
Switchcraft 297 1/4" TRS male, studio quality.
Custom made in Los Angeles. Ideal for the studio or a home studio.
Alpha 1773C is solid copper 22 awg wire with a braided shield.
Not recommended for live use unless semi-permanent installation.
In 2005, I had the privilege and good fortune to sit in on a mastering session
with Doug Sax at The Mastering Lab in Hollywood, CA. Then go out for lunch.
There was plenty of gear talk and frequency discussion. The Alpha 1775C wire was mentioned,
and soon after I commissioned 2 snakes and this one is now up for sale.
The parts cost about $800 without the build labor included.
