The GA-251 from Golden Age Premier is a hand-built, boutique condenser microphone inspired by the legendary Telefunken ELA M 251 — one of the most revered microphones ever created. This MKII version introduces several refinements in build and componentry, delivering a smooth, warm tone and high-end clarity that excels on vocals, acoustic instruments, strings, and room miking.
Each unit is handmade in small batches of just 50, using carefully matched components to ensure performance consistency and musical character.
