Concord Welson DS2 Hollow Body Electric Guitar - Made in Italy 1960's

This fine Italian guitar is a 22-fret Welson "Doppia Spalla” 2 (double cutaway). Sunburst finish with tortoise shell pickguard, classic Welson tremolo tailpiece, 3-way selector, and vintage electronics. Research on the Concord brand has come up with some evidence that Concord was an Australian distributor that mainly imported Japanese guitars. There would be quite a story to tell for this guitar to have traveled from Italy to Australia to the United States over the course of 60 years. It has been cleaned up, lightly polished, and fretboard conditioned. It does not currently have a bridge so it is not able to be strung at the moment. I have taken measurements for a custom replacement since 67mm post spacing is highly unusual. If I can get to it in a reasonable amount of time, that will be added. All original electronics are intact and look okay to include a pair of the uniquely-profiled Welson humbuckers. However, since it cannot be strung, output has not yet been tested. Finish has cracked evenly throughout the body, mostly in small vertical striations on the top/back. The lower strap peg is missing and the finish has peeled off in that area. The two spots on the back that appear cracked are only surface-level and do not bow or sink the body itself. Minor scuffs and handling marks throughout. One 2-3" section of binding at the high-e side neck pocket curve was loose and re-adhered. Tuning machines do not bind or wobble.
