I'm the original owner of this lovely little amp.

It has a decent sound for a small combo amp: At full blast it has a tube saturated distortion sound, and with the volume down, it has the classic VOX clean tone.

Recording through the AC4TV is a breeze since it already sounds great out of the box. The tone control gives you the option to roll off the treble. You have the option to adjust your tone with the controls on your guitar; controling the amount of gain from your guitar's volume and the tone as well.

It's a great little amp for practice or live band with its built in attenuator, giving you tube amp distortion at lower volume with the low output 1/4 Watt setting. The Vox AC4TV can also be used in the louder 1 or 4 Watt setting for more speaker breakup, larger room recording setting, or in a band or live music setting.

The external 4 ohm Speaker Output gives you the option to experiment with different cabinets and speakers so you can further modify your own sound.

It reacts to switching between pickups well, it loves pedals, and it's easy to carry around at only 19.6 lbs.
