This is a lovingly made and finished "partscaster" with premium parts and setup. I started assembling and finishing guitars in 2022 and am now selling them under the brand Quint Guitars.
This guitar has been in progress for over a year as I've been working to find just the right parts for it.
The neck is a roasted maple with a rosewood fretboard that I've finished by hand with Tung Oil and wax. It's smooth as can be and feels great with its medium C (9.5" radius) shape.
It features my current favorite combo of pickups - a p90 style in the bridge and a gold foil in the neck. This gives some awesome crunch and bite, but also the beautiful mellow roundness. In this case, the neck is a Gemini Pickups DeArmond spec Goldfoil, and the bridge is a Porter Pickups 9T.
I added an extra fun feature where the switch on the control plate puts the pickups in series and gives a FAT tone without the tone control.
The red on this is truly stunning and really pops wherever it is.
