Well what we have here is the prototype of the Jan Ray pedal before it came out . This was Michael Landaus as he was asked to check it out . Notice its only 2 knobs . The version that came out has 4 knobs . The Bass and Treble are trim pots in the front of the unit . Mike said " Why don't you put pots on the top for Bass and Treble "
There also is a " ML " mod installed . I don't know what it is but this pedal just has a little more “ omph “ “ girth “ to the sound
Great idea , hence the Jan Ray as we know it today . This Jan Ray has something special to it . It sounds great .
