These are total sleeper monsters! Stock they deliver 200 Watts of some of the best Solid State tone ever put in an amp. The tone stack is excellent and the addition of a mid-frequency boost and shift means this can really sit perfectly in any mix.
Though built as a bass amp, these have a reputation in the hardcore and metal world as doom machines with some boost and a hot pickup. Like a bassman on steroids, these are really sweet amps when cranked!
The built in compressor also really adds a tone of utility for live performance. Unlike a pedal style compressor, this uses a high threshold to compress the output and make sure it doesn't peak too hard, protecting speakers and ears.
As is pretty common this has a replacement power switch from the breaker style fitted from factory.
