Vintage 1968 Epiphone Newport Bass Husk Project!

Up for sale is this vintage 1968 Epiphone Newport bass husk project. This one will require parts and work to be a functional instrument, so please be sure to read the entire description and to check out all of the photos. It is being offered "AS IS".

This listing includes the body, neck, nut, and original pickguard. Cosmetically, the instrument looks great and features a ton of great checking. There is wear in the form of numerous small scratches, dings, and scuffs which is to be expected from an instrument of this age.

The main issue with this one, as is common with these, is that the neck set has failed and will need to be repaired. A gap around the heel as well as some finish chipping can be seen in the photos. It has not been previously repaired and there are no other cracks, breaks, or repairs. The truss rod functions exactly as it should in both directions.

No case or gig bag is included, but the instrument will be well-packed to ensure safe shipping.
