I am offering a Fender Pawn Shop Bass VI from 2013, a Bass guitar model from Fender's Pawn Shop series, made in Ensenada, Mexico, with a solid alder body, bolt-on maple neck with “C”-shaped neck profile and 42mm nut width, elegant rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays, versatile HSS pickup configuration consisting of two special design hot singlecoil Jaguar pickups (neck, middle) and a JZHB humbucking pickup (bridge), high-quality Fender vintage-style tuners, 6-piece vintage-style adjustable bridge with floating tremolo tailpiece in a brilliant candy apple red high-gloss finish with parchment pickguard and matching headstock in mint condition, including black Fender hardshell case, manufacturer's papers, and professional setup with D'Addario XL156 strings.

The Fender Pawn Shop Bass VI, limited to only 2012-2014, is an absolute cult machine: As a hybrid construction of guitar and bass, its short 30" scale length (762 mm) covers a fascinating tonal midrange – perfect for ambient pads, surf twangs, dark indie sounds or even experimental studio work. Unlike the classic Bass VI models, this Pawn Shop version has a simple operating concept with a 5-way switch, volume and tone controls, so that it remains intuitive to use without compromising on sound versatility. The combination of single coils in the neck and middle positions and the JZHB humbucker at the bridge allows for a wide range of sounds, from glassy cleans and twangy mids to massive bass punch with gain.

A sound sample of the model (only in Sunburst finish) can be found above at the end of the photo gallery.

The workmanship is impeccable, as you would expect from Ensenada: the ergonomic “C” neck profile fits comfortably in the hand, the rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius offers a perfect balance of vintage feel and modern playability, and the chrome-colored tremolo bridge system provides a classic playing feel with the possibility of subtle vibratos. Last but not least, the iconic Candy Apple Red high-gloss finish with matching headstock contributes significantly to the unique look – 120% retro vibes.

In short: an extremely versatile Fender special model that is one of a kind and invites you to experiment right away!
