The Made in Japan Limited Telecaster® Blue Flower features an alder body with a gloss finish, covered in a Blue Flower patterned film. Its maple neck has a 60s Oval "C" shape, a vintage-style 7.25-inch radius, and 21 vintage-style frets, offering a faithful reproduction of the classic playability of the era. Additionally, the outer blue burst has been re-colored for a deeper, more refined vintage aesthetic.
Influenced by the "Summer of Love" and "Flower Power" movements of 1967, which had a significant impact on fashion around the world, Fender introduced the "Blue Flower" and "Paisley Telecaster®" models. These guitars, with their bold patterned finishes covering the entire body, had a look unlike anything seen before. They quickly gained popularity, especially among rockabilly and country-western players. Though production was later discontinued, these models have been reissued multiple times over the years. Now, Fender is reviving these iconic instruments—highly regarded in the brand's history—as limited edition models for 2025, crafted with Made in Japan quality.
