Ike Turner gave this bass to SLY STONE . SLY STONE gave the bass to the drummer EARL PALMER one the famous drummers in the wrecking crew. Earl Palmer gave it to his son , his son gave it to me.......Ouch. The original pick up was changed out for a P pick up and it looks like a person tried to modify it to play left..... The bass plays and sounds AMAZING.....Sad to let it go ..I am retired... THE BASS IS A SHOW STOPPER ...I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE PLAY ONE LIVE......IT ALSO RECORDS GREAT
