Here is a vintage players grade 1972 Fender Thinline Telecaster. This is the one that is so highly regarded being the first year that they make the reissues of. But heres your chance to own the real thing!
The body is in very good condition with no nasty bangs or bumps. There is two finish cracks in the clearcoat on the front as pictured. Also underneath the pickguard it appears as if alot of the clearcoat more or less melted away. The original pickguard had been routed out to put in a humbucker that needed a pickup ring for installation so was unusable to put the original pickup back in. It is included. The pots and cap also appear to have been replaced at some point as well but everything else appears original.
The neck is fully functional and straight. The frets definitely have been worn down. I did my best to clean them up and it could probably benefit from a refret at some point but is playable as is. There are a few nicks to the back of the neck and some wear along the fretboard edges but nothing that is super noticeable to me while playing.
Everything works as it should and it sounds awesome. Its setup with 10's and still has good action. It comes with the original case and manual as well.
