Epiphone Triumph 1945 Custom Florentine Cutaway Blonde

Very special and one-of-a-kind 1945 Epiphone Triumph with custom added cutaway, Biltoft (Vintage Vibe) floating full size humbucker and old MIJ L5 style tailpiece.

This guitar has obviously been customized! It had a Florentine cutaway added decades ago which looks incredible and gives it unrestricted playability up to the last fret. It has been refretted (Although the frets are low-ish) at some point and is in great shape for an 80 year old guitar, with no cracks or repairs to the solid hand-carved top or back. There are several spots on the sides and neck where strap-pins and pickups have been mounted during its lifetime that have been filled. The input jack (which is in the Sadowsky position) has been reinforced from the inside. it was solid originally when pressed on, but there were some surface cracks, so I had my guy reinforce it(see pictures). The pickup is attached using acoustic (mic) putty - this method seemed to not change the sound whatsoever, no holes were necessary and it’s been on for years at this point but can easily be moved to a players desired position.

This guitar sounds SUBLIME, plays excellent with low action all the way up the neck, and is a straight up cannon, acoustically. The floating Biltoft pickup sounds *great* and now out of production…. This guitar is squared away and ready to be someone's workhorse with incredible vintage tone and modern playability.

Materials: Handcarved solid Adirondack spruce top; solid handcarved figured maple back and sides; five-piece maple/walnut neck; Brazilian rosewood fingerboard; diamond-pattern enamel fingerboard inlay and "fleur-de-lis" style peghead inlay; triple-bound body, bound fingerboard and headstock. TKL Deluxe hard case.
